Should I tell my teacher to stop teaching me clical guitar?

I'm not sure how much time and money you have but why not keep up the clical lessons and also take lessons on chords from another teacher. The clical lessons will help you with more complex music and will help if you want to start writing music one day. More than one musical influence will make you a more rounded artist.
