Need formal letter help?

Hi Chelly! Firstly, while writing a formal letter you must keep in mind that it should be as concise as possible. If you can, I'd advise you to cut it short. The purpose of writing a formal letter is to convey your message in the most efficient manner. It should be polite and should come across as professional. Also as far as possible abbreviations should be avoided. Personal references like I and you must be used minimally. However if you absolutely have to write more than one page, my opinion is that if you are writing to somebody in an important position, you are better off using a second page. All the best! ;)
