Having a baby while in the Military?

My husband and I have a year old right now. He is in the Marine Corp. and has been stationed in Japan for the majority of these two years =/ He has missed out on ALOT. In the beginning, while pregnant with our son (landon) we agreed that we want at least 2. He would always joke how if I ever changed my mind he would change my birth control pills to skittles just to get me pregnant again! I thought it was too cute. haha However, now that he has missed so much he is afraid to even have another one. Alot of the guys in his unit have told them that they are closer with there 2nd child because they were able to be there for everthing. After hearing that, he is sooo afraid that he will be closer to the 2nd than he will be with Landon. Hes so afraid that he would rather not have another child, then risk it happening. I dont know what to do now! :( We had a plan as a couple, everthing thought out. Knew everything we wanted. I want another one soo bad. He will be stateside next month finally, so I want to wait at least a year for him to adjust to being around Landon and be a daddy for more than 28 days(thats the longest hes been able to take leave, and hes taken it only 5 times in 2years) I completely understand his point and side, I just dont know how to go about this. Another child I know for a fact I want. Any advice on this. Thank You!
