If Jesus is God, why did he tell Mary Mageline not to touch him until he ascended to his father and God?

Jon M has explained it very simply and clearly. God the Father was in heaven, along with God the Holy Spirit, and Jesus was God the Son in human form, still on earth. God is the One Being who is made up of all three separate personages - Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
