So creationism should be taught in school, but where?

I strongly believe that creation's shouldn't be taught in a science room. But in something like religious studies, I strongly say yes. Is there anyone who disagrees? Meaning is this what fundies want? Or do you/they want creationism in a science cl room? If so, why? Evolution still stands up strong, and creationism has little to no evidence for it. I'm usually not so intolerant, but I believe that for the human race to progress, we need to learn new and most approved theories. How can anyone disagree?
