I have a question about my German Shepherd..?

NO! I wouldn't. I don't usually go to any other forum but I saw this question and I LOVE my dog and should anything like this happen I would be devastated. My choice would be If like you said he is eating , not in pain and acting like a 5 month old. I would follow my heart and leave It be. if something G** forbid happens I would deal with It then.I would listen to the Shepard. You will know when he isn't well. They always some how some way let us know.
