Does my 8 week old kitten loves me to much?

I got him 4 days ago. I am 14 and he loves snuggling and playing with me and my parents. I have time for him but my parents only have some time. he cries when everyone goes upstairs, so we have to put him in some ones room. However will he be upset when i leave him (to go to school im currently on holiday) and want the same attention, or will he eventually grow out of it.
