Does anyone regularly carry and use a flask for drinking anymore? I see them for sale, but are they used?

I see them at places like "Things Remembered" and occasionally at liquor stores, but does anyone use them? I know they're customary as a gift for a groom, but honestly... When was the last time you saw someone pull one of these out of their coat and take a swig?
